Located with in the grounds of la Maison Chaudenay, La Pressoir is a fully self contained single level apartment featuring traditional tommette flooring and oak beam ceilings. Light and spacious, it has quality furnishings and is ideally suited for one couple or a family of 3.
Le Pressoir (wine press room) has been converted from a 17th c viticulture operation building, and while it is newly renovated, much of the interior stonework and wooden beams have been preserved. It consists of an L-shaped layout with the bedroom, separate dressing area, bathroom and separate WC combining to form the foot of the L. The back of the L is formed by a spacious (6m x 11m) open plan lounge, dining room and fitted kitchen, all of which are enhanced with high pitched, beam lined ceilings. The total floor area is 100 sq meters.
The fully equipped, newly installed kitchen includes an oven, gas/electric plates, microwave and refrigerator. The bedroom includes a queen sized bed and separately a single bed converts from a day use divan. All bedroom and bathroom linen are supplied. A washing machine is also included. A non-smoking policy applies.
In the kitchen for your arrival we supply a quantity of tea, coffee, sugar, milk, water, juice, salt, pepper, oil and vinegar. Also tea towels, rubbish sacks and washing powder. Bathrooms are stocked with soap, tissues, make up removal pads, and earbuds. Iron and ironing board are supplied. Bicycles are available for leisurely countryside excursions and broadband internet connection is available in our common room for even more leisurely excursions!
Secure off street parking is available.

As well as your own private terrasse there are a number of tranquil spots in our 2.5 acres of gardens and park for you to relax and unwind such as in the shade of our 100 year old sequoia tree. Or perhaps you will be tempted into a leisurely game of boules, our 'pitch' is located in our 17th c wine press room! For something slightly more active there are bicycles available for you to absorb yourself in the surrounding farmland countryside, amongst the vineyards or along the Canal du Centre.
